Benchmarks
Make a few selections so the data is in alignment with your objectives. Select your campaign objective, business strategy, Mobile OS and timespan. If your business strategy is purchases/aeo/vo, make sure you're viewing mature data by excluding the current week in the date selection.
Once you've made the selections, you'll be able to see how you compare to other accounts in a variety of factors such as metrics, bidding strategy, audience & country targeting, account activity, and creative & placement.
How to read the data?
To provide this information we look at KPI averages across accounts and let you know if your competitors are performing at average, below average or exceeding averages with specific settings or a combination of settings.
Some sections - like Benchmark - will have straightforward numbers. However, other sections will signify if competitors are succeeding with a particular setting or combination of settings with the colors green, red, and gray.
- Green: exceeding the averages
- Yellow: about average
- Red: below average
- Gray: no spend
Let's look at this example below which is showing Lookalike audience with % and mobile event source. The table shows the % of spend being spent in a particular combination and if it's performing above, below or on average.
To look for opportunities, you want to look for the green dots in your competitors' table and gray dots on your table.
