We've built a smart reporting layer that helps you understand how your creative, audience or a/b tests are performing. Easily visualize which videos, images or audiences are winning a split or multivariate test. You can select specific metrics and segments you'd like to graph, like spend, ROAS, CPA and many more.
To start using this feature, let AdRules know you're running a split test in the Campaign/Ad Set step in AdBuilder. Learn more here. You may use this powerful reporting tool with all campaign structures, not just split tests.
There are two ways to find this feature.
- Choose Ad Build, under Misc, in Data and Objects menu.
- Choose Ad under Account Structure, in Data and Objects menu.
Then, click the View Results tag under the item’s name.
The Ad Build's results will load, defaulting the selected date range to the first 30 days after the build was launched. From there, select any applicable metric to compare results.
Metric: The metric to compare by. See data points per day for the graph to see more clearly if metrics change.
Show Cumulative: In most cases, you'll want to view cumulative results as the ad matures to determine the winners. Unchecking this option will show day-over-day performance.
Object To Chart: You can chart Ad, Media, Audience, CTA, Headline, Text
Segment By: If your build contained multiple groups of Lookalike Audiences, you can create a reporting section for each, in order to identify winning Ad or Media combinations with an Audience.
Only show last 7 days on the chart: This feature lets you zoom in on final performance (last 7 days of range) in the charts. It's easier to see which ads are the winners in this way. You will want to use these feature in concert with the Show Cumulative option.
Below the charts, a cumulative end-result summary is shown, for the dates selected.
In this section, you're able to sort by your selected Metric, as well as select a control. The control will be reflected on the charts using a triangle symbol, and your performance deltas will be shown in a new column below the charts.
In this way, you can identify Ads or Media that are performing better or worse than control.
