- Sending Data to AdBuilder Templates
We've recently made a change to align with Facebook Advanced Reporting & Ads Manager. In addition to Advanced Reporting, we've added Campaigns, Ad Sets, Ads, Creative & Audience tabs.
These tabs will carry on selection & filters, so if you're working on Campaigns and add Ad Sets and Ads, you'll be moved to the lower object selection. In this case Ads. If you're working in Advanced Reporting, you'll be able to add multiple data and stay in Advanced Reporting.
When you enter into Advanced Reporting, you'll see your selection Campaign, Ad Sets or Ads, and several default metrics. To add additional data, you can either click on the Campaign name like the example below.
You could also go to the Data dropdown menu.
This will allow you to add additional data for you to see such as Account Structure, Audiences, Creative, Demographics and more.
Rolled Up Data
As an example, let's start by adding Media under Creative.
Once media is added, you can sort by any metric by clicking on the metric name on the top menu. In this case, it's sorted by ROAS.
Rolled Up Data Audience All
We can add Custom & Lookalike Audiences on top of Media. These selections will show you the specific media and the Custom & Lookalike Audiences that reside under that media.
From here, we can filter by a specific media to see which custom & lookalike audiences are running this video.
Drill Down With Filters All
You can further zoom in. Let's add Ad Sets as another example. You can find Ad Sets under Account Structure. Here, you'll be able to see which Ad Sets are running the selected media. You can also see which Custom & Lookalike Audiences are being used in these Ad Sets.
Let's say we're interested in a particular Ad Set, we can filter in with a left click.
You can further zoom in by adding an Age & Gender breakdown. This will show you metrics by Age & Gender groups.
Changing Dates View
By default, we're looking at a summary view which shows many days rolled up. However, we can change that to hourly, hour of day, daily, weekly, monthly, day of week, day of month, or weekday/weekend.
In this example, I'll change to daily. This will allow you to see data broken down by day.
You may also compare timelines. To compare two timelines click on the Compare Dates checkbox, and select the date or date range you wish to compare to.
You'll see two sets of data with the comparison. The first with your original date selection and the second (labeled 2) with the date range you chose to compare it with.
AdRules Advanced Reporting allows you to graph your data, and also compare metrics. To graph your data, click on the graph icon at the top.
You can add metrics and/or compare them to a different time period.
AdRules allows you to save any report and easily make it recurrent. To save a report, click on the download icon on the top menu.
You'll be prompted with options to download once or make recurrent. If you make this report recurrent, you can also choose which day and what time to receive the report.
Upload In-App Event Data
In addition to the data fed into Ad Rules through the Facebook SKD or Adjust or Apps Flyer, Ad Rules allows you to upload data directly into AdRules using a csv. file. You may import any in-app event or offline data. We allow you to map your events to events you've defined in Ad Rules report.
To upload data, go to the main menu on the left and click on Conversion File Upload
Sending Data to Ad Builder Templates
You may send data from Advanced Reporting to Ad Builder. This will create a copy of an existing template. Only the element you choose will be changed, the rest will remain untouched.
Send data such as creative elements ( unique creative, media, creative text, headline, etc) audiences, or interests groups.
To send data, select what you wish to send, and click on the Build button on the right toolbar, then click on Add to AdBuilder Template.
This will prompt you to browse and select the template you wish to send your data to.
