AdBuilder supports creating Facebook Split Tests. With a Split Test, Facebook will randomize your traffic between two or more Ad Sets in the test. This randomization helps ensure the test is conducted fairly because other factors won't skew the results of the group comparison. It also ensures each Ad Set is given an equal chance in the auction. For more information click here.
On the Campaign / Ad Set step, choose Split Test under Ad Set and select the variable you'd like to test. AdBuilder will restrict options based on the selected variable. For example, when Creative is selected, you won't be allowed to select multiple Placements or multiple targeting options that would result in the creation of different Ad Sets. This keeps your test variables confined to only the variable you're testing.
On the Review step, select the end date of your test. After this time, you'll receive an email of the results of the test.
Also on the Review step, you can choose to create a saved report for this Ad Build (below).
You can also view all split tests by selecting the Split Test data object from the Data and Reports selector in Advanced Reporting.
